While the brand is internationally known for its exceptional leather jackets and coats, its collections extend far beyond leather: waxed cotton outerwear, technical fabric layers, garment-washed wools and treated jersey pieces all feature within the brand’s full wardrobe.Founded in 2002 after 15 years of intensive research into hide selection, tanning, treatment and garment construction, ISAAC SELLAM EXPERIENCE approaches clothing as engineered sculpture. Each piece is handcrafted in-house in Paris with meticulous attention to texture, structure and finish, resulting in garments that embody raw elegance and avant-garde refinement.

Origins & Leatherward Legacy

Isaac Sellam’s relationship with leather began at age 16, when he produced his first jacket. Years of training in specialized workshops and collaboration with experienced tanners developed his mastery of leather dyeing, aging, hand-finishing and structural cutting. In 2002 he launched ISAAC SELLAM EXPERIENCE, establishing a Parisian atelier dedicated not just to design, but to material research.The brand’s early identity formed around leather, yet its evolution expanded into technically engineered textiles: coated cotton, structured wool, bonded fabrics, performance blends and experimental jersey. This allows Sellam to apply his architectural design language to a full range of materials — each chosen for its ability to hold shape, develop patina or express texture.
